Recovering Missing Account Data After Sign-in
Why my progress disappeared and how to recover it
Overview
If your account looks newly created or your progress (history, streaks, sessions) is missing, the most common cause is signing in with a different email address than the one used originally. This article explains how to check which account you used and how to restore your data.
Quick checklist to recover your data
Search your email inbox(es) for previous sign-in codes or messages from our app—these show the email address used originally.
Sign out and sign back in using that original email address. The app will sync your existing account data from the server.
If you use multiple devices, make sure they are signed in to the same email address.
Give the app a moment to sync after signing in; active connections and background sync can take a short time. (Try killing the app and opening it again)
If that doesn’t restore your data
Check Settings → Advanced → Debug Info and copy the information shown (app version, device, environment, and account ID if present).
Contact support and include the debug info and the email address you believe the account used. Do not include any passwords or sensitive personal information.
Preventing this in future
Keep a record of which email you use to sign in.
Before signing out of a primary device, confirm your data is synced (wait a moment and check Settings → Advanced → Debug Info).
